(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Paul Edward Kennon Sr., of Lamar, MO, departed this life on Friday, July 24, 2026, in his home at the age of 70.
He was born on October 4, 1955 in St. Louis, MO to Paul Joseph and Verna May (Comely) Kennon. Paul served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Blackwell’s Services Lockwood and was a driver for M.F.A. in Iantha. He enjoyed watching Westerns in his favorite recliner and going to car races. Paul was an avid hunter and looked forward to his yearly hunting trips with his hunting buddy, Danny Foster.
Preceding him in death was his father, Paul Kennon; and his wife, Vickie Kennon.
Survivors include his mother, Verna Kennon; five sons, Paul Kennon Jr., Johnny Kennon, Joey Kennon, Nick Kennon, and Cody Kennon; six daughters, Jodie Gregg, Meghan Kennon, Kayleigh Willet, Alicia Gilkey, Jarica Willet, and Teisha Lesmeister; two brothers, Tim Kennon and Lonnie Kennon; two sisters, Vernene Kennon and Tammy Butcher; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Graveside services will be at a later date at Iantha Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
