Jeff Fitchpatrick

Jeffrey "Jeff" Morgan Fitchpatrick, age 54, of Jasper, Missouri, passed away on July 25, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Jeff was born on August 19, 1971, in Carthage, Missouri, to Benjamin Morgan Fitchpatrick and Lois Elene (Berryhill) Fitchpatrick. He attended Jasper R-5 Schools from kindergarten through graduation, earning his diploma with the Class of 1989. During his high school years, Jeff was an active member of FFA all four years and worked in the school office, helping transition records into the computer system. He also worked at Sirloin Stockade in Carthage.

Following graduation, Jeff proudly served his country in the United States Army for four years. During his military service, he was stationed in Seattle, Washington, and in Germany during Operation Desert Storm. After completing his service, he lived briefly in Webb City before returning to the family farm near Jasper when his father became ill and needed help on the farm.

Jeff was known throughout his life for his strong work ethic and dedication. He managed the Dollar General store in Joplin, worked for more than five years at Sam's Club, was employed at Pete's in Jasper, and spent the past 12 years with O'Reilly Auto Parts in Lamar.

Creative and generous, Jeff especially enjoyed woodworking and, in his younger years, crafted beautiful pieces of furniture. He was also a devoted supporter of Jasper High School athletics, keeping statistics for numerous sporting events and dedicating 15 years to the Jasper High School softball program. Jeff found great joy in encouraging young athletes, supporting students, and giving back to his community.

Survivors include his mother, Lois Elene (Berryhill) Fitchpatrick of Jasper; one sister, Kelly Ann Faubion and husband, Geoff, of Jasper; two nephews, Brett Faubion and wife, Hannah, and Morgan Faubion and wife, Shayla; three great-nieces, Stella Faubion, Emery Faubion and Liliann Faubion; and two great-nephews, Benjamin Faubion and Jasper Faubion.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Morgan Fitchpatrick, and his grandparents, Loyal and Velma Berryhill and Earl and Lenna Fitchpatrick.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Daniel Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the family to assist with medical expenses or to the Jasper High School softball program, in care of the funeral home.
