Annie Sperandio

Annie Marie Sperandio, 48, of Kremmling, Colorado, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 27, 2026.

Born on March 4, 1978, in Monett, Missouri, Annie was the daughter of John and Linda Sperandio. She graduated from Monett High School with the Class of 1996 before proudly serving her country in the United States Navy. Following her active-duty service, she continued serving in the United States Navy Reserves.

After her military service, Annie made Colorado her home. She worked for the U.S. Forest Service during the summers of 2005 and 2006 and also spent time working at Whistling Elk Guest Ranch. In May 2007, Annie began her career with the Bureau of Land Management in Kremmling, Colorado. Over the next 19 years, she built a respected career, most recently serving as a Realty Specialist. She was dedicated to her work, her community, and the public lands she cared for. She spent some of her free time as a volunteer for the Kremmling Fire Protection District where she retired in 2021.

Annie loved spending time outdoors and found her greatest peace on the water. Some of her happiest moments were spent on the beaches of Florida, paddleboarding whenever she had the chance, searching for seashells, and watching the waves roll onto the shore. She embraced the beauty of nature and the simple joys it brought.

Kremmling was more than where Annie lived—it became her home. She became one of the locals, making countless friends through her warm smile, kind heart, and genuine spirit. She had a way of making everyone she met feel welcome, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her loving mother, Linda Sperandio; her brother, David Sperandio of Verona, Missouri; her sisters, Sara Sperandio (Diane)of Benson, Arizona, and Julia (Richard) Carr of Aurora, Missouri; her aunt and uncle, Judy and David Marshall of Monett, Missouri; as well as many extended family members, cherished friends, and colleagues who will forever treasure her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Sperandio; her grandparents, Jim and Jerry Ghan and Dominic and Theresa Sperandio; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and other family members.

Annie’s presence brought comfort, laughter, and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love for her family and friends will never be forgotten. Although her time with us was far too short, the memories she created and the love she shared will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
