(From Daniel Funeral Home)Milburn Reid Alexander, age 86, of Jasper, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on July 8, 2026, with his loving wife, Sandra, by his side.
Reid was born on April 11, 1940, in the Maple Grove area to Victor Rex Alexander and Geneva Hall (Chapman) Alexander.
A proud veteran, Reid served his country in the United States Army from 1962 to 1968. On April 28, 1967, he married the love of his life, Sandra Kay Pope. Together they shared 59 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on love and devotion.
Reid was best known for his craftsmanship as a floor covering specialist, earning the respect of those who knew his dedication and skill.
In his free time, Reid had a passion for classic cars and vintage pickups. He especially enjoyed attending car shows with his beloved little red 1966 Ford F-100 short-bed pickup, a source of pride and many fond memories.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Alexander; his nephew, Brian Wayne Alexander of Carthage, Missouri; nephews, Collin Pope, Dustin Pope, and Cesare Kleeman; and nieces, Missie Pope and Chi-Chi Steele.
Private family services will be held.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and may be made payable to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
