Paul Boothe

Paul Thomas Boothe, 78 of Norman Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026.

Paul was born on July 14, 1947 in Granby, Missouri to Orville and Clara Boothe. Following his East Newton High School graduation, he married the love of his life, Sue Jones. Shortly after their wedding, Paul answered the call to serve his country, joining the United States Army during the Vietnam War.








Upon leaving the Army, Paul returned to settle down in Southwest Missouri with his family. In 1981, they moved to Oklahoma, where he built a beautiful life and raised his children. Paul was a dedicated and skilled craftsman, working for many years as a machinist until his well-earned retirement at the age of 72. Paul was very passionate about Missouri Tigers sports. He faithfully followed them in both football and basketball, keeping up with every single game and remaining a loyal fan throughout his life.

More than anything else in the world, Paul loved to hang out and spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were truly the center of his world. and he always wanted to be right where they were. He cherished every moment spent talking sports, listening to music, and playing games with them, creating memories that they will carry forever/

Paul is survived by his first love, Sue, of Claremore, Oklahoma. He leaves behind his four children: Vince Boothe of Moore, Oklahoma; Tina Jameson and her husband Mike of Yukon, Oklahoma; Chris Boothe and his wife Leann of Claremore, Oklahoma; and Kent Boothe of Blanchard, Oklahoma.








He is also survived by his eight grandchildren: Kami and her husband Zach; Brandon; Tyler and his wife Tiffany; Kory and his wife Morgan; Zach Mitchell; Molly; and Zeke; as well as his two great-grandchildren, Erich and Dustin. Additionally, he leaves behind his sister, Alma Phillips of Mt. Hope, Kansas and his brother, Danny Boothe of Granby, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Clara Boothe, and eight of his siblings.

Pallbearers include:

Brandon Boothe, Tyler Boothe, Zach Boothe, Kory Jameson, Erich Farmer, Dustin Farmer, & Zach Cook.
