Jana Pair

(From Ozark Funeral Home)

Jana Marie Pair, 69, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday afternoon, July 2, 2026, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri.

Jana was born on May 29, 1957, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to the late Oren Honaker "O.H." Williams, Jr. and Emma Jane (Connell) Williams. Her formative years were spent in California, where she developed the warm, steady, and caring spirit that remained with her throughout her life. It was there that she met Charles "Tony" Pair, the man who would become her husband. In 1981, Jana and Tony moved to Anderson, Missouri, where they made their home. They were united in marriage on September 26, 1982.

Jana worked for Tyson Foods and later for Walmart. In May 2000, a series of brain aneurysms permanently changed her life.

Those who knew Jana best remember the vibrant woman she was before that day. She loved with her whole heart and gave so much of herself to the people she cared about. Her daughter, Toni, was the light of her life, and nothing brought Jana greater joy than being her mom.

Jana found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved fishing, floating the river, spending time at the lake, hosting family gatherings, dancing, and sharing laughter with those she loved. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved.

To her nieces, nephews, family, and friends, Jana was the aunt everyone adored. Her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love touched countless lives and will never be forgotten.

Jana is survived by her daughter, Toni Nicoline, and her husband, Cameron, of Goodman, Missouri; two grandchildren, Stetson and Berkley; two sisters, Sammy Lou Williams and Susan Marriott, both of Grove, Oklahoma; as well as a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles "Tony" Pair, on May 27, 2008; and three siblings, Diana Lorraine Williams, Marion Denise "Murphy" Pisano (Marriott), and Garl Gene Williams.

Graveside services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2026 at Anderson Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
