(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Kenneth Lee Fritz, of Climax Springs, MO, departed this life on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the age of 75. He was born on October 17, 1950 in Hammond, IN to Paul and Wanda Fritz.
Dad had a pretty good life. He worked at Nobleton Industries in Edward’s, where he drove a forklift and built pallets. Dad then carried out his career at the Hatmaker Sawmill in Cross Timbers running the log debarker machine, where he retired at the age of 65. He enjoyed playing in pool tournaments, throwing horseshoes, and building/remodeling things. Dad spent his last 10 years enjoying retirement hanging out with his close by buddies, including Junior, and making new friends at the local bar Oh’Tommy’s.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Paul and Wanda Fritz; his wife of 42 years, Charlotte Fritz; his sister, Claudia Kenney; and one granddaughter, Angel Stewart.
Survivors include two sons, Kenny Thomas of Memphis, TN and Edward Fritz of Columbia, MO; two daughters, Ronilee James of Climax Springs, MO and Teana Austin of Greenfield, MO; seven grandsons, Brandon, Jacob, Ryan, Marcas, Delmar, Junior, and Brayden; and two granddaughters, Corisa and Alayna.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice. Cremation services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
