(From Ozark Funeral Home)Ridson Olsen Darra, age 37, passed away unexpectantly on June 16, 2026, in Noel, Missouri. He was born on February 2, 1989, in Saipan, Marianas Islands.
Ridson grew up in Pinglap and carried the values of his upbringing with him throughout his life. He later studied at the College of Micronesia-COMFSM in Palikir, Pohnpei, where he earned an associate degree in Marine Sciences and the Arts. His education reflected both his curiosity and his appreciation for learning, and those who knew him recognized him as a very smart man with a natural ability to understand how things worked.
He was especially known for being very good with his hands. If something was broken, Ridson could fix it, no matter what it was. He always had many projects going, and he took pride in staying busy and making things better. Behind his apartment, he kept his own “Man Cave,” a space that reflected his creativity, resourcefulness, and love of working with tools. It was said that he had nearly every tool a person could need. Ridson worked in manufacturing for Tyson and Georges Chicken, where his strong work ethic and dependable nature were appreciated by those around him.
Ridson loved spending time with family and enjoyed hanging out with friends. He especially cherished time with his beloved fiancée, Angie Ehmes, and he found joy in the simple moments shared with the people he loved most. He enjoyed fishing and playing basketball, and he had a deep appreciation for seafood because it reminded him of home in the Islands. He also greatly looked up to his brother, a sign of the respect and admiration he held for those close to him.
He will be remembered as loving, friendly, and kind. Those words reflect the way he treated others and the warmth he brought into every relationship. He was very open with those who knew him well.
He is survived by his fiancée, Angie Ehmes; his daughter, Angel Darra; his sons, Anson Darra, Andre Darra, and Angelo Darra; his step-daughter, Reiann Ehmes; his brother, Olsen Darra Jr.; his half-brothers, Oliver Darra and Darnel Darra; his stepmother, Nellyne Benjamin Darra; and his stepfather, David Samson Kiahd.
