(From Clark Funeral Home)Barbara Lea Crawford passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 84. She was born on December 16, 1941 in Goodman, Missouri to Fred and Christine (Hembree) McGahan.
Barbara was a lifelong resident of Goodman. She graduated from Goodman High School; married her high school sweetheart, Stanley Crawford on December 23, 1958.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Crawford; daughter Tammy Franks and her husband Michael of Mission, TX; daughter Dee Ann Blankenship and her husband Alan of Galena, MO. Four grandchildren also survive her: Derick Blankenship and his wife, Amanda; Stephanie Brown, and her husband, Greg; Ashley Allen, and her husband, Paul; and Dr. Brian Blankenship, and his wife Bonnie.
Great grandchildren surviving her are Lauren Johnson, and her husband Ryne; Aiden Brown, and his wife Natalie; Augustine and Sophia Brown; Sienna and Jayden Blankenship; Norah, Azrah, Lilly, and Arabella Allen; Theodore and Milo Blankenship.
Barbara was a Christian woman that freely gave of her time and talents. She was an active member of the Goodman First Baptist Church. She served as a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School worker, and , along with her husband. led the youth group for several years. She was an active member of the Gideons Auxiliary. She was instrumental in establishing the jail ministry in both Newton and McDonald Counties. She also served in the community by volunteering to deliver Meals on Wheels with her husband and was a Pink Lady volunteer at Freeman Neosho Hospital.
When she was not serving or volunteering, you could find her creating lovely ceramic art, painting, or crocheting pieces with love in every stitch. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy. She loved spending time and making memories with her loved ones that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Preceding her in death are her parents and one brother, J.V. McGahan.

A Memorial Service will be held; Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 11:00AM, at the First Baptist Church, 144 E. Main Street, Goodman, Missouri 64843 with Pastor Mark Hall officiating.
Services are under the personal care and direction of Clark Funeral Homes.
