Carol Jean Ballard, age 63, formerly of Webb City, Mo., passed away on Sunday October 12, 2014, in Olathe, Ks.
Carol was born on September 27, 1951 in Oregon, Il., the daughter of Lorraine (Green) and Oral Jefferson Patten. She was a past member of the Joplin Full Gospel Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and caring for her family.
She is survived by her daughters; Kari Carmona, Olathe, Ks., Lisa Patten, Olathe, Ks., Nina Patten, Albuquerque, NM and Terri Willbanks, Joplin, MO; two brothers, Allen Patten, Byron, Il., and Gerry Patten, of Illinois; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Joplin Full Gospel Church. Pastor John Myers will officiate. Burial will be in Webb City Cemetery. The visitation will be open during regular visiting hours.
