Martha Marie Greene age 84 of Jasper, MO passed away October 19, 2014.
She was born October 9, 1930 in Greenfield, Missouri to John and Leona (Weinstein) Shaw. Martha was a member of the Jasper United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and an avid baseball fan. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to National Health Care for the loving , kind care given to their mother.
Martha was united in marriage to William Greene on October 25, 1947 in Greenfield, MO.. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1998. Martha is survived by four sons, Terry Greene of Webb City, MO., Gary Greene of Carl Junction, MO., Billy Greene and Randy Greene both of Jasper, Mo.. A sister-in-law, Betty Shaw of Golden City, MO.. Twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren..
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO.. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October21, 2014 at Weng Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Jasper Youth Baseball Program.. The family will be at the home of Randy and Susan Greene.
