Rocky D. Bullard, 56 of Joplin, MO., passed away Thursday October 16, 2014 at his home following a short battle with brain cancer.
Rocky Bullard was born October 22, 1957 in Welch, Oklahoma the son of Bill and Leila (Mooney) Bullard. Rocky was a long time Welch resident before moving to Joplin seven years ago. He was a successful entrepreneur and a driven worker. He was a “Jack of all trades.” He owned many businesses in his lifetime, including a stone masonry business, to raising cattle, and many things in between. He was a dedicated and successful man, loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed raising cattle, being outside, hunting, football, and buying and selling machinery and real estate.
Rocky is survived by: his wife, Terri, Joplin, MO; two daughters, Amanda Bullard, Tulsa, OK, Samantha Bullard, Joplin, MO; granddaughter, Drew Goade, Joplin, MO; siblings, Ann Walker, Bluejacket, OK, Frances Wallace, Vinita, OK, Randy Bullard, Joplin, MO, Tom Bullard, Berry, AL, Don Bullard, Welch, OK, Leona White, Coffeyville, KS; numerous, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. His parents preceded him in death.
Rocky is to be cremated. Memorial services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday October 21, 2014 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel in Joplin, MO. Brad Canham will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service on Tuesday.
