Linda A. (Borland) Shipman, 69, passed away October 6, 2014 at Mercy McCune Hospital Carthage.
Linda was born January 6, 1945 in Independence, MO to Harry and Margaret (Webb) Borland. She was a Registered Nurse for more than 30 years and a member of the Open Door Baptist Church of Carthage. Linda was also a member of the Gideon Auxiliary.
Linda was united in marriage to David Shipman September 25, 1965 in Independence, MO he survives. Linda is survived by two sons Charles Richard Shipman and wife Kathryn Ann of Carthage, MO and Shannon David Shipman of Moline, IL, one sister Sylvia Gilbert and husband John of Kansas City, MO, one brother Jeffrey L. Borland and wife Donna of Raytown, MO, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 11, 2014 at the Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday October 10, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Dudman Springs Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the paralyzed Veterans or Open Door Baptist Church in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
