Janice Blanchard

Janice Mae Blanchard was born Dec. 3, 1945 in Neosho, MO, the daughter of the late Eugene Terry and John Smiles and Ida Wright Smiles. She went to be with the Lord on June 11, 2014.

 She was married to Eugene Blanchard of Toledo, OH for 46 years. She graduated from Neosho High School in 1963 and was a member of the National Honor Society. She attended St. John’s School of Nursing in Springfield, MO. Janice loved gardening, embroidery, sewing and researching family members history. She loved keeping up with the family newsletter getting out information to those who will benefit from them. She retired from Jobst Institute as a data analyst and was active in Women of the Old West End Association.

She is survived by her husband and two sons, Douglas Blanchard, Toledo, OH and Cory Blanchard, Cincinnati, OH; her mother, Ida Smiles, Neosho; brothers and sisters, Jackie Clark, Neosho; Dennis Smiles, Neosho; Bobby Smiles, Joplin; Paul Smiles, Sherri Smiles and Lionel Smiles, Neosho, Edward Terry, Arlington, VA; Mark Terry, Honefoss, Norway; Carol Terry, Severn, MD; Debbie Caldwell, TX; Tina Marvray, Los Angeles, CA; Pam Power, TX and grandchildren, Aailyah Blanchard, Jordan Hopkins, DeVante Blanchard, Mykayla Kuhn, Noah Kuhn and Cori Blanchard.
