Linda Diane Garrison Buckley, age 52, Appleton City, Missouri, formerly of Joplin, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at her home.
Linda was born May 19, 1962 in Joplin, daughter of the late Charlotte Spencer Garrison who died in 1964, and William H. Garrison of Joplin. She attended school in Independence, Missouri and Carl Junction, Missouri before graduating from Carl Junction High School in 1980. She worked for Missouri Southern State University in food service for several years before moving to Butler, Missouri in 2004. She had attended Carl Junction Nazarene Church.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lyle Garrison in 2011.
Survivors include her son, John Aaron Pliler of Joplin; granddaughter, Patricia Pliler of Butler, Missouri; father and step-mother, William H. Garrison and wife Karen of Joplin; brother, Robert W. Garrison and wife Debbie of Webb City, Missouri; uncle, Eugene Spencer and wife Carol of Raymore, Missouri.
Graveside services will be Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.in Carl Junction Cemetery with Rev. Bob Simon officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
