Lola Marie Lewis, 86, Granby, MO., died Monday, June 23, 2014, at her home, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 24, 1927, in Newton County, to Perry and Alpha (Enlow) Harris. Lola was a lifelong area resident. Prior to her retirement she worked many years at the Granby Garment Factory while she and her husband Landon ran a dairy farm. Lola was baptized at the Granby Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son, David Parsley, Granby, three granddaughters, Anna Marie O’Brien, Anderson, Rejena MacCash, Pooler, Ga. and Paula Sleeper, Girard, Ks., Three great granddaughters, Leandra Johnson, Katelynn (Allison) Shourds and Cassie (MacCash) Fontenot, four great grandsons, Jarid MacCash, Cody, Seth, and Lane Sleeper, six great-great grandchildren, Delica, Lola, Grace, Emma, Kaitlin, Kensley and Kaden, three sisters, Ilene Garner,Jewell(Charles) Collinsworth and Violet (John) Branham. In addition to her husband and parents Lola was preceded in death by her daughter Reba Kay (Parsley) Roberts, two grandsons, Aaron “Butch” Cox, Jr. and Shannon Parsley, four sisters, Imogene Shellito, Christine Michael, Betty Garren, and Ann Barber, and numerous nieces and nephews.
