Andy Lynn Smith of Quapaw, OK passed from this life on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at his home. He was 37.

Andy was born April 1, 1980 in Dumas, TX to David and LaVinda (Sipp) Smith. He had lived in the Picher and Quapaw area most of his life. He graduated from Picher-Cardin High School in 1998. He worked for Lakeland Office Systems in Joplin and Miami. He was a member of Highway Tabernacle in Quapaw. Andy loved to fish and do gaming.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his uncle, Jackie Raney.

Andy is survived by his mother, LaVinda Sipp of Quapaw, OK, his father, David Smith of Amarillo, TX, his brother, Garrett Sipp of Quapaw, OK, 2 sisters, Teresa Glass and her husband Jerry and Dala Thorp all of DesMoines, IA, 4 aunts, Cindy Raney and her husband Melvin Cook of Miami, OK, Christine Fetters and her husband Glen of California, Mary Ernest and Terry Curtis of Waynoka, OK, his uncle, Bobby Smith of Georgia, 4 nephews and 3 nieces, many cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK with Rev. Ray Clonts officiating. Interment will follow in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami with Garrett Sipp, Wayne Glass, John Lucas, Brandon Paxton, Travis Murphy and Michael Lasiter serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
