Robert Dale Casto, of Greenfield, MO, departed this life on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO at the age of 70 years.
He was born on April 6, 1947 in Webb City, MO to Glen D. and Lucille M. (Carver) Casto. Robert was united in marriage to Treasia Williams on August 19, 1967 in Springfield, MO. To this union were born four children. Robert was a Vietnam Veteran having served as a Corpsman in the United States Navy aboard the USS Kearsarge. He was stationed at the Gulf of Tonkin Bay. Robert learned to drive a semi truck and received his CDL License. He drove numerous years for D & D Sexton in Carthage.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Glen and Lucille Casto.
Survivors include his wife, Treasia Casto; four children, Melissa Blankenship and husband Guy, Michelle Phillips, John Casto and wife Jeanne, and Christina Ward and husband Scott; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
