Richard Dean “Tank” Francisco, 55, passed away August 21, 2017 at his home in Carthage. Tank was born October 9, 1961 in Carthage to Freddie and Nancy “Perry” Francisco. He was born and raised in Carthage, although he lived briefly in several places, since his father was in the Navy. Tank graduated from Carthage High School Class of 1979, served in the United States Army and was a truck driver.
Tank is survived by two sisters: Denise Thompson and Lisa Miller, one brother-in-law Michael Rock of Norfolk, Virginia, two uncles: Claude Perry of Carthage and Bob Tatum of Owasso, Oklahoma, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tank is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Shelby Kay Rock and one Aunt Marsha Elaine Tatum and his grandparents Frank and Nadine Perry, who helped raise him.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Park Cemetery in Carthage.
Contributions may be made to Carthage Shriners Travel Fund, care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
