David Stovall

David Lynn Stovall of Miami, OK passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at his home. He was 56.

David was born May 28, 1961 in Kansas City, MO to Roscoe and Frieda (Becker) Stovall. He had lived in Kansas City until he was 4 and moved to Quapaw. He graduated Quapaw High School 1979 and attended N.E.O. A&M College. He served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for OK Disposal in Wyandotte. He attended Spring River Indian Baptist Church and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miami.

David was preceded in death by his father Roscoe Stovall , a brother John Stovall and a sister Anita Bartholomew .

Survivors include his son Jordan Stovall and wife Katy of Wyandotte, OK, his daughter Josie Stovall of Glenwood Springs, CO, his mother Frieda Stovall of Quapaw, OK , 3 brothers Bob Stovall of Carthage, MO, Bill Stovall of Joplin, MO and James Stovall of Commerce, OK one sister Lisa Ward of Olive Branch, MS and a granddaughter ,Joslyn Stovall.

Graveside Celebration of Life Services will be Monday, August 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Rev. Carl Kerkemeyer will officiate.
