Warren David Bailey, age 76 of Webb City, Missouri passed away Friday August 11, 2017 at Freeman Hospital with family by his side.
He was born March 26, 1941 in Puttman, Oklahoma to William Arthur and Lillian Dee (Brown) Bailey.
Warren graduated from Carl Junction High School in 1959. He worked for Safeway Bakery as well as being a farmer and a dairyman. He retired in 2004. He was a faithful member of the Webb City Church of the Nazarene and was strong in his faith. He was very thankful for the guidance, support and encouragement he received from Mike Withers, Duane Cox and Steve Patterson for leading him to the Lord.
He married Elizabeth Louise Thompson on March 30, 1961 in Purcell, Missouri, and she survives. Warren is also survived by one son, Warren David “Skip” Bailey Jr. and wife Tracy Webb City, Missouri; three daughters, Marsha Webb, Oronogo, Missouri, Cindy Rea and husband John, Webb City, Missouri, Carrie Bailey, Oronogo, Missouri; 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; two brothers, Orville Bailey, Carthage, Missouri, Lloyd Bailey, Pittsburg, Kansas; three sisters, Helena Schmitz, Vi Hendreickson, Clara Insco, and three sisters in-law, Helen, Margaret, and Louise, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Leroy Bailey, Wayne Bailey, Harold Bailey; four sisters, Lois DeGraff, Eileen Savage, Evelyn McAully, and Wynona Myers.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday August 16, 2017 at the Webb City Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Nathan Haeck officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday August 15, 2017 at 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home Webb City, Missouri.
