Jennifer L. Smallwood, age 45 of Neosho, Mo., passed away early Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo. following an illness.
Jennifer was born on April 16, 1972 in Joplin, the daughter of Max Haase and Jean (Coats) Lamb. She has been a lifetime area resident, Jennifer worked as an elementary school teacher at South Elementary in Neosho. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Neosho.
Survivors include two sons; Trenton Hopper and fiancé Skyla, Tyler Hopper, both of the home, her mother; Jean Lamb of Neosho, her brother; Jason Jordan and wife Amy of Aurora, Mo., and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Todd Decker, will officiate. Burial will follow at Burkhart Cemetery in Racine, Mo. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
