Judith Dale "Judy" Jackson, age 67, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2020 at Mercy of Joplin after a sudden illness.
Judy was born July 12, 1952 in Joplin, daughter of the late Robert H. Thomason and Betty Lou Johnston Thomason. She grew up in Joplin, and graduated from Parkwood High School in 1970. She was then a member of the first graduating class from Missouri Southern State College Radiology Program.
She went to work for St. John's Hospital in the Radiology Department before being asked to switch to work as an application analyst for the hospital. She has worked for Mercy for over 40 years. She was a lifelong member of Empire Baptist Church of Joplin, and a current member of Impact Life Church of Joplin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Goswick.
Survivors include her son, Daniel Jackson and wife Kimberly; daughter, Misha McAnally all of Joplin; 11 grandchildren, Addison McAnally, Kaylah Maynard, Kinzie Jalali, Treyvan Jackson, Lexi McAnally, Michayla Jackson, Arian McAnally, Connor Jackson, Tanner Jackson, Kaiden Sadd, and Kamrin Sadd; great-grandchildren, Millie Jane and London; sister, Jacci McDonald of Joplin; niece, Mindi Watts; nephews, Rob Goswick, and Adam Watts all of Joplin; several extended family members and friends.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Osborne Memorial Cemetery with David DuRall, II officiating.
