Daydreon ”Daydee” Simpson, 62, of Parsons, died at 4:32 P.M., Saturday, March 28, 2020 at her home.
She was born November 5, 1957 at Pryor, OK, a daughter of Robert Leonard and Margaret Mae (Titsworth) Simpson. She was raised in Parsons and grew up here.
Following high school she was employed as a cook at the former Townsman Motel and Restaurant. She later was part owner of “Cronies”, the restaurant in the former Parsonian Hotel. When the hotel closed, she was a cook at the Labette County Medical Center. Most recently she worked at CJ’s Diner for nine years as a cook.
She was Christian. She enjoyed gardening and animals.

Survivors include: two brothers – Gary Stwalley, and his wife, Cathy, Carl Junction, MO, Gordon Simpson, and his wife, Carol, Parsons, KS; two sisters – Peggy Hartman, and her husband, John “Skip”, Scottsdale, AZ, Tamara “Tammy” Simpson, Parsons, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers – Rick Stwalley and Bobby Simpson.
No services are planned at this time. The family will hold a private service at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Proud Animal Lovers Shelter.
