Lois Marie (Ward) Cupp, age 84 of Carl Junction, passed away Monday morning, March 30, 2020 after a short illness in Wichita, KS. Lois was born on December 17, 1935 in Carl Junction, MO, daughter of the late William Sydney Ward and Osie Marie Jones Ward.
She has been a lifelong resident, just recently moving to Wichita, KS in July of 2018 to live with family. She retired in 2007 from LaBarge Electronics after 20 years of service.
Lois has been an active member of the Carl Junction community. She was a lifelong member of the Carl Junction Methodist Church, a member of UMW, and worked many years on the church’s Bingville celebrations. Lois is a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star Faith Chapter #334.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Paul William Cupp, whom she married June 29, 1956; sisters Geneva Magoon and Wilma Tucker; and brother, Alan Dean Ward.
She is survived by her children, Stephanie (Mark) Scanlan of O’Fallon, MO, Jeff Cupp of Joplin, MO, Jennifer (Jerry) Hicks of Wichita, KS, and Judy (Brad) Burris of Naples, FL; grandchildren Chris (Amy) Scanlan, David Scanlan, Tim Scanlan, Jordan Hicks and Heather Burris, nieces, great nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary with a Memorial Service to be held at a later date.
