Sally Jane Lansaw age 73 of Joplin, Missouri passed away peacefully at Freeman Health System on March 22, 2020. Sally was born November 8, 1946 in Joplin, Missouri to Earl and Elizabeth Watson.
She married John William Lansaw on December 12, 1963. Together they had two children. Sally was rarely referred to as her given name. To everyone who knew her, she was simply Mema.
Being a mema was her greatest joy in life. Mema was the family’s prayer warrior and her faith in God helped guide us all. She was the glue that held us all together.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Elizabeth, and her husband John.
Sally is survived by daughter, Jane; her son Keith (Tina); granddaughters, Samantha (Tony), Bailee (Zach), Miranda (Aaron); grandson, Jimmy (Michele); great grandson, Johnny; great granddaughters, Rillyn and Layla Jane.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
