Vicki Kay Cornman, age 74, of Jenkins, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Landmark Hospital in Joplin.
She was born March 12, 1946 the daughter of Victor Kenneth and Eunice (Henderson) Jones.
On December 29, 1964 in Joplin, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Walter Leslie Cornman, who preceded her in death on December 2, 2018. Also preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers.
Surviving are two sons, David Cornman of Jenkins, Missouri and Brian Cornman and his wife Tiffany of Wheaton, Missouri; two daughters, Sheri Young of Nixa, Missouri and Traci Craig and her husband Scott of Metamora, Illinois; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Vicki grew up and received her education in Baxter Springs, Kansas, Joplin and Monett, graduating from Monett High School. Shortly after marriage she moved to Jenkins to make her home. For many years she was a nutritionist for University of Missouri Extension Service. One of her favorite pastimes was helping with the 4-H Club where she was a leader for her entire adult life. She was a member of Jenkins Fire Department Auxiliary, “Save the Jenkins Bridge” board and Cassville First Baptist Church.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2020 at Clio Community Church in Jenkins, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Reverend Bob Allmon will conduct the services. Burial will be at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins.
