Cynthia Marie Giddens, age 51, Joplin, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Cynthia was born January 18, 1969 in San Pedro, California to Arthur Gomez Vallejo and Alicia Barbara Gonzales.
Cynthia was a California native moving to the Joplin area in 2013. Cynthia worked in production at Hampshire Pet Foods. She had a great love for animals and will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.
Cynthia married Shawn Giddens on April 24, 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives at the home.
Additional survivors include her children, Destiny Giddens, Alyssa Giddens, Shawnee Giddens, Katelyn Giddens, Sophia Giddens, Bobby Cantu; step-brother Robert Vallejo and several extended family members.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
