(From Ozark Funeral Home)Mr. Jackson Ray “JR” Denny, Jr., 43, of Gentry, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday morning, November 26, 2021, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, from complications of COVID-19.
JR entered this life on August 29, 1978, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, born to Jackson Ray Denny, Sr. and Glenda (Mullin) Denny. The majority of his life has been spent in Southwest City, Missouri.
On March 30, 2002, he was united in marriage to Julie Moffett and to this union two children were born, Tatum and Kash. JR worked in the poultry industry throughout his life. He was employed for 19 years with Neo-Sho Farms and was currently employed by Simmons Industries. He enjoyed riding horses and spending as much time possible with his children. JR attended the Gentry Church of Christ.
JR is preceded in death by his grandpa Denny, grandpa Mullin, and a niece Laramie Moffett.
JR is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Julie Denny of the home; his two children, Tatum and Kash Denny; his in-laws, Doug Moffett and Annette Moffett; his parents, Jackson and Glenda Denny of Jay, Oklahoma; two brothers, Jeremy and Josh Denny both of Jay; a sister, Rachel Denny of Morrow, Arkansas; maternal grandmother, Francis Mullin of Watts, Oklahoma; paternal grandmother, Eunice Denny of Maysville, Arkansas; Nine brothers-in-law’s; Eight sister-in-law’s; Eleven nieces; and nineteen nephews, as well as a host of other family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday evening, December 3, 2021, from 5-7:00 p.m. at the Ozark Funeral Home in Southwest City, Missouri.
