(From Nichols Funeral Home)Jo Ellen Stout, age 67, of Grove, OK passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at her home after a long illness.
Jo was born on August 22, 1956, to Allen and Amellia (McClain) Lawrence in Edwardsville, Illinois.
She moved to Grove in 2003 from Texas and on February 5, 2012, Jo married Vernon Stout in Miami, Ok.
Before her health declined, Jo worked as a Personal Care Assistant in home health. She was a member of the Living Church of God in Joplin, MO. Jo enjoyed puzzles and flower gardening.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Maria and brother, DJ.
Left to cherish her memory, husband, Vernon Stout, step-children, Mike Stout (Jolene) of California, Barton Reed of Omaha, NE and several step grandchildren.
