Jim Mitts

James Brian Mitts, 49 of Aurora, Missouri sadly left us on Friday, September 15, 2023.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Dianna Lynn Mitts of Aurora; two sons, Douglas James Mitts and Mathew Darren Mitts of Aurora; his mother, Francie Dean Eutsler of Aurora; two brothers, Bobby Dean Mathewson and wife tera of Galena and Darian Clete Eutsler of Killeen, Texas; one sister, Rhonda Long of Galena; along with his mother and father in law, Sherry and George Hensley of Aurora and several nieces and nephews.

Jim was a 1993 graduate of Galena High School. He also graduated from Missouri Southern Law Enforcement Academy in 2001. He was currently happily employed with District Public Safety Authority of Springfield, Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Leroy Mitts and Eddie Eutsler; Grandmother Francis Hudgens.

Arrangements for cremation have been made to honor Jims memory. We are holding a Celebration of Life Friday, September 22nd at the Aurora Community Center from 5-8 PM. We invite those who knew Jim to attend and remember his wonderful life. Please bring memories to share.

Jim was a wonderful husband, father, son and friend to all who knew him and will be deeply missed. Forever in our Hearts.
