(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Dan Soliday, age 71, of Webb City, Missouri passed away Thursday September 7, 2023 following a sudden illness.
He was born July 24, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois to Harry and Dorothy Soliday.
Dan was a truck driver for Union Carbide and George Swanson Company. He also worked for Flex-O-Lators and was a property manager. He attended Franklin Technology and studied HVAC and automobile mechanics. He volunteered during the 2011 Joplin Tornado and with the ASPCA. He loved the Chicago Bears and the White Sox.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, David Soliday.
Dan is survived by his wife, Carolyn and one sister Barbara Calhoon.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Mason-Woodard Mortuary. Burial will follow at Fidelity Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory Joplin, Missouri.
