(From Clark Funeral Home)Raymond E. Lawson was born on December 6, 1936, in Newton County, Missouri, the son of Jack and Blanch (Culp) Lawson. He entered into rest on September 17, 2023, in Neosho, Missouri at the age of 86.
Raymond served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Sunbeam for many years as a supervisor and then as a forklift driver at K and S Wire. He enjoyed coon hunting, horses, was a great dancer and enjoyed going to garage sales and having garage sales, where he could visit with people.
On August 30, 1979, in Miami, Oklahoma, he and Judith Ann Woodrum were united in marriage, and she preceded him in death on December 9, 2020.
Raymond is survived by his children, Kimberly Worster of Neosho, Jeff Brodie and wife, Tina of Coffeyville, Oklahoma, Donja Woodcock and husband, Greg of Neosho, Mary Ann Willett of Neosho, Chuck Lawson and wife, Gail of Pineville and Johnny R. Lawson and wife, Ruth of Centerton, Arkansas, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Robert ‘Buck’ Lawson and stepson, Bryan Brodie.
