(From Knell Mortuary)Andrew Scott “Andy” Cloud, 45, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at his home.
Andy was born October 6, 1977, in Carthage, Missouri, the son of Mike and Pat (Wilks) Cloud. He was a 1996 graduate of Carthage High School, and then studied meat science at Oklahoma State University.
Andy married Niki Mahan on June 28, 2001, and to this union, two children were born; they later divorced. He worked as a meat cutter for Cloud's Meat Processing for many years and more recently was active in the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank.
Andy was a member of The Bridge a Christian Church in Carthage. He enjoyed woodworking and was able to make just about any kind of furniture and very ornate pieces. Andy also enjoyed restoring cars, and running, especially being proud of running in the Chicago Marathon on his 40th birthday. He truly loved his family and will be missed by many.
Survivors include his children, Brady Cloud and Blake Cloud, both of Carthage; his parents, Mike and Pat Cloud of Carthage; a brother, Chris Cloud (Michelle) of Carthage; three nieces, Kara Cloud, Kaitlyn Cloud, and Kallie Cloud; and many extended family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Brady Cloud and Blake Cloud, both of Carthage; his parents, Mike and Pat Cloud of Carthage; a brother, Chris Cloud (Michelle) of Carthage; three nieces, Kara Cloud, Kaitlyn Cloud, and Kallie Cloud; and many extended family and friends.
Memorial visitation will be held 5-7 pm, Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to the Andy Cloud Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of Knell Mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Knell Mortuary.
