Robert Milton Jones Sr. of Eureka Springs, Arkansas was born January 31, 1932 in Hurley, Mississippi to Willard and Leola (Davis) Jones. Bob passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the age of 91.

Bob served in the Navy during the Korean War. He then served as a fireman for 32 years for the Mountain View Fire Department in Mountain View, California. Locally he volunteered with the Eureka Springs Fire Department, was an Eureka Spring Mason, attended Lonestar Bible Church, and enjoyed the Morning Breakfast Club.







Robert married the love of his life, Rosemarie Sirois Jones, on May 11, 1957, who survives him of the home. They were 66 blessed with years together. He is also survived by their children: Robert Steven “Duck” Jones of Hurley, MS, Robert “Boy” Jones (Alison) of Eureka Springs, AR, Cynthia Bradley of Diamond, MO, David Jones (Chris) of Berryville, AR, and Linda Holst (Dwayne) of Chapel Hill, NC; grandchildren: Patrick Jones, Robert Jones, Rachele Jones, David Barbato, Rebecca Otten, Nathan Jones, Daniel Jones, David Jones, Michael Jones, Dimitri Holst, and Cordelia Holst; twelve great grandchildren; one brother Edward Jones of Hurley, MS, as well as many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Willard and Leola Jones, grandson Brandon Jones, three sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2023 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2023 at Lone Star Church with Pastor Don Carter officiating.
