(From Clark Funeral Home)John Conness was born on September 6, 1937, in Neosho, Missouri and entered into rest on September 10, 2023, at the age of 86.
John served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked as an over the road truck-driver and retired from Sitton Motors and then worked for NTI on a local level and retired from there. He enjoyed mowing and tinkering with anything, especially mowers, weed eaters and chainsaws.
He resided in Seneca, Missouri with his companion, Pauline Conness, who survives and is also survived by two sons, David (Deanna) Conness of Neosho and Donny (Shea) Conness of Carthage; step-daughter, Anita Massey of Joplin, stepson, Randy Stevens of Seneca; fourteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Ida Bell (Lamar) Conness; one son, Steve Conness; one stepson, Brian Cox and one daughter, Dana Roller.
The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
