(From Falls Funeral Home)

Beverly Elaine Moore was born on March 14,1946, and passed away on March 14, 2026, on her 80th birthday, surrounded by family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Ruth Horton; her siblings Linda Spencer and Kirk Horton; and her beloved husband, Greg Moore.

She is survived by her daughter Lynette Cook and husband Joe; her granddaughter Natalie Cook; her twin sister Kathy Roller (Lewis); and many nieces and nephews.

Beverly was born in Joplin, Missouri, and was raised in Redings Mill, Missouri, as well as in Joplin, Missouri. She graduated from Joplin High School in 1964. She attended Joplin Junior College for one year before transferring to the University of Kansas and graduated in1968 with a degree in Speech Pathology. During her time at KU, she was a proud member of Delta Gamma.

Beverly and Greg were married for over five decades. They built a family in Plano, Texas. She taught speech therapy in the public schools for a few years before becoming a mother. Beverly loved being a room mom in her daughter, Lynette's, classrooms. She was in the Junior League and was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Richardson and later St. Andrews Methodist Church in Plano. Beverly also worked as a realtor for a number of years in Plano. She and Greg enjoyed spending time with friends and family, gardening together, and vacationing, especially to the Outer Banks of North Carolina with family. Greg preceded her in death on May 10, 2023.

After retirement, Beverly and Greg moved to Holiday Island, Arkansas. They loved the beauty they were surrounded by, the friendships they made at Holiday Island Community Church, and being a part of the Elks Lodge #1042. When their health began to fail, they moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, in March of 2023 to be close to their daughter and family. They resided in the House of Hope. The family will be forever grateful for the excellent care they both received while residing there. Healing Hands Hospice was so kind in her final days.

A memorial visitation will be held sometime in May in Joplin, Missouri. Date and time is pending. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Church of Wichita Falls, Texas, Holiday Island Community Church in Holiday Island, AR, or the charity of your choice.
