Freedom Grube passed away peacefully in her home on March 15, 2026; leaving behind a family who loved her deeply. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Boyce.
She is survived by her stepfather, Marven Boyce of Joplin, Missouri; her children, Cheyenne Choate of Webb City, Missouri, and Jacob Choate of Galena, Kansas; her grandchildren, Jaxson and Harper of Webb City, Missouri; her life partner, Robbie Scheiterle; and her brothers, Daniel Choate and life partner Teresa Clark of Joplin, Missouri, Bryan Grube and wife Dianna Grube of Waterloo, Iowa, and Shawn Choate of Waterloo, Iowa. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Freedom's love for her family was endless, and her memory will continue to live on through the lives of those she loved most. Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
