Linda Harris

Linda Sue Harris, age 80, of Joplin, MO, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at her home.

Linda was born on February 27, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA to the union of Marion and Bell (Dohle) Parker. She attended schools in Broken Arrow, OK. After graduation, she moved to Jay, OK, where she obtained her Associates Degree in Business. She then went on to work for a surgical nurse as a scrub tech in Broken Arrow. 

Later on, she went to work as a casino host in Las Vegas. Linda found her true calling later working as a social worker for a cancer center in Broken Arrow. She married the love of her life, Carol Cimmino. 

Linda was an avid lover of games, Linda found joy in the simple pleasures of playing cards and Mexican dominos. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, whether that was playing games or just sitting around the dining room table talking about life. Her laughter, her gentle embrace, and her unwavering kindness will be held close by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Rhyine Frank.

Linda is survived by her wife, Carol Cimmino; and a host of extended family and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
