Peggy Cupp

Peggy Jane Cupp, a lifelong resident of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 70. She was born on June 16, 1955, to the late Fred and Verna (Carver) Jordan.

Peggy's passion for gardening was evident to all who knew her. She was also known as a beautiful singer. Peggy's melodious voice was a gift she shared freely, uplifting the spirits of those around her. Her love for song was only matched by her talent in the kitchen. Peggy found immense joy in cooking for her family.






Above all, Peggy was a giving person. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she was always the first to offer help to anyone in need. She donated to charity not for recognition, but because she truly believed in the power of kindness and the importance of supporting her community.

Peggy is survived by her children, Autumn Blackburn, Michael White, and Amanda White; grandchildren, Devin Blackburn (Syrenia), Dalton White, Danny Blackburn, and Dayden White; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Ema, Daniel, Ivan, Raylynn, and Grady; siblings, Ruth James (Ray), Charlie Jordan (Kim), Brian Jordan (Kathy), and Randy Jordan (Valerie); sister-in-law, Connie Jordan; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Seth Cupp; siblings, Fred Jordan, Russell Jordan, Arthur Jordan, and sister-in-law, Rhonda Jordan.




A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Denny Carver officiating the service.

Arrangements are under the direct care of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, MO.
