(From Parker Mortuary)

Robert "Bob" Brasch passed away on March 12, 2026, in his hometown of Joplin, Missouri, at the age of 83. Born on September 23, 1942, Bob's life was a testament to the values of dedication, family, and faith.

Bob, was born and raised in Joplin. He was the son of Floyd and Olive (Allen) Brasch. Bob graduated from Joplin High School in 1960. After high school, Bob attended Joplin Junior College and served in the Missouri National Guard Reserves. Bob worked for 20 years in the office at W.R. Grace until their closure in 1988. For the next 15 years, Bob was employed with the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Carthage, Missouri. He retired in December 2004 as the Motor Vehicle Inspection Supervisor.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Linda (Druart) Brasch, who was his partner in all things and his greatest support. Together, they raised a family that was the center of Bob's world. Bob and Linda had two children, a daughter, Deanna Anderson and her husband Phillip of Joplin, MO, and a son, Kevin Brasch and his wife Kristen of Springfield, MO. Bob was very proud of his four grandchildren, Laura (Anderson)Cook and her husband Eli of Bolivar, MO, Kannon Brasch of Springfield, MO, Josh Anderson of Joplin, MO, and Knox Brasch of Springfield, MO.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Cindy (Brasch) Smith.

Bob found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He could often be found fishing on Grand Lake or vacationing in Branson, MO. Bob enjoyed the music shows in Branson and would plan trips to see his favorites each year. He also enjoyed watching sports on TV, with his dog Allie. College basketball, the Kansas City Chiefs and MLB baseball games were a staple in his home, with Bob skillfully flipping between multiple games. Nascar racing was also a favorite.

Bob loved spending time with family. He never missed a chance to be there for his children and grandchildren, whether it was attending a baseball or basketball game or a cheering competition. His presence was a source of encouragement and pride.
