Betty Rogers

Betty Jo Rogers, age 93, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Friday morning, May 1, 2026, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri.

She entered this life on December 17, 1932, in Milo, Missouri, the youngest of eleven children born to the union of the late Delbert and Cora May (Crum) Rogers. She was raised in Milo and was a graduate of Lamar High School. As a young adult, she moved to Anderson, Missouri, where she would remain for the rest of her life.








Betty was a devoted homemaker throughout her life and took great pride in caring for her family and home. She married Jack Rogers, and together they shared more than forty years of marriage before his passing on November 21, 2021.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and lived her life guided by her beliefs and her quiet strength. Betty found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, raising chickens, and caring for her animals. One of her greatest pleasures was babysitting her grandchildren, and she cherished the time spent with them.








Betty is survived by five daughters, Laura Rogers, Bonie Rogers, Julie Rogers, Julia Spero, and Denea Bagerian; a son, David Roark; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Rogers; her parents, Delbert and Cora May Rogers; and her ten siblings.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2026 at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri with Pastor Dennis Bergen officiating. Burial will follow at Tracy Cemetery. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are David Roark, Brandon Bailes, Michael Shaddox, Jake Hartel, Gordy Hartel and Hunter Roark with Quentin Bailes and Weston Shaddox serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
