Carolyn Sue Horine, born July 9, 1946. Died April 28, 2026, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Joplin, MO. to the late Tom and Jewell Trimble. She was Salutatorian of the 1964 Joplin High School graduating class.
She married Larry Horine on November 21, 1964.
Sue worked for Southwestern Bell for 18 years. Then retired to become a full time mom.
She is survived by Jeff and his spouse Stephanie, John and wife Chandice, and James and his partner Amanda. Twelve grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Sisters Dorothy and Rosemary and brothers Tommy and Lonny.
Sue was preceded in death by Larry, her parents Tom and Jewell, sisters- Jean, Roberta, Debbie, and brother Don, granddaughters Hillarie and Crystal, and grandson Emmet.
There are no planned services.
