Victor John Sinclair, age 54, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at his home after a sudden illness.
Victor was born April 15, 1964 in Harbor City, California. He grew up in California and Texas, graduating from High School in Plano, Texas. He moved to Joplin in 1989, and worked as a chef at several local restaurants, including Denny's, Bob Evans, where he worked for over 20 years, and most recently he was with International House of Pancakes (IHOP) in Joplin.
Survivors include his children, Natasha Sinclair, Ashley Gonzalez and husband Michael, and William Sinclair all of Joplin; mother, Cynthia Lockwood of Afton, Oklahoma; father, Victor Lockwood of Las Vegas, Nevada; fiancé, Kristin Karr Cupp of Carthage; sister, Catherine Lockwood of Joplin and her children, Joshua and Emma Lockwood; grandchildren, Elizabeth Branton, Myla Gonzalez, Ava Gonzalez, Jackson Haviland; grandmother, Bess Chalker of California; step-children, Robert Peppers, Raelyn Colby, Shelby Karr, Joey Karr, Xylah Karr; step-grandchild. Memorial visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at Parker Mortuary with family and friends officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
