Robert “Bobby” Aaron Lyttle, 60, Carthage, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at his home. Bobby was born May 15, 1958 in Miami, OK to Robert and Shirley (Neely) Lyttle. He graduated from Carthage High School, Class of 1976. He then went on to receive his associate degree from Crowder College, where he attended on a baseball scholarship. Bobby spent many years living in various states and visiting and vacationing in every state in the United States except Hawaii and Alaska. He returned to live in Carthage in 1994 and lived there until his death. He remained an avid sports fan his entire life. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Carthage since age nine.
Survivors include his father, Robert, Joplin, MO; one son, Robert John Lyttle, Morganton, NC; and one sister, Jo Ann Draper, Branson West, MO.
Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann and his two sisters, Jan Alea Winder and Debra Alane Pope.
Memorial services will be held 6 pm, Thursday, August 16, 2018 at First Christian Church, Carthage, with Carthage Tiger and St. Louis Cardinals dress attire welcomed and appreciated. Ministers Greg Turner and Tom Thomas will officiate. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Neely-Lyttle-Turner Ozark Christian College Scholarship Fund in care of Knell Mortuary.
