Jacob T. Ellis, 22, Sarcoxie, MO, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018. Jacob Tyler Ellis was born March 25, 1996 at Dyess AFB, Abilene, TX to Reuben Ellis and Sally (Russow) Ellis. He graduated from Sarcoxie High School, Class of 2014, where he was in the marching, jazz, and concert bands.
Jacob married Anna Dicamillo in July of 2015; she survives. Jacob was a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force and was stationed at the Minot Air Force Base, Minot, ND. He had two tours in Qatar and Guam. Jacob loved cars, motorcycles, dirt track racing, hunting, and most of all, spending time with his boys, family, and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Anna, his two sons, Xion and Ares Ellis, his parents, Reuben and Sally Ellis, his brother, Drake Ellis, his sister, Christi Ellis, a grandmother, Norma Russow, grandparents, James and Candace Ellis & Garry and Margery Ellis, great grandmother, Phyllis Carr, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Russow, great grandfather, Don Carr, and a cousin, Marissa Russow.
Visitation will be held 6-7 pm, Friday, August 17, 2018 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Funeral services will be held 10 am, Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Knell Mortuary. Minister James Yost will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Park Cemetery, Carthage. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions go to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of Knell Mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Knell Mortuary.
