George D. Heisten, 76, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in El Dorado Springs, MO. George was born September 8, 1941 in Carthage, MO to Russell “Russ” Jacob and Willa “Dunn” Heisten. George served in the United States Army, then became a chemical engineer.
George is survived by his love, Barbara “Gene” Chilton, and his children, Brian Heisten and wife Andrea, Lindy Heisten, Mark Heisten and wife Angela, and Alyssa Heisten. George will also forever be remembered by Barbara’s children, Michael Chilton and wife Kelsey, Matthew “Turtle” Allen, and Barbara Bradhurst and husband Jeramiah. George is survived by his eight grandchildren and one nephew, Rusty Heisten.
George is preceded in death by one brother, William Heisten.
Visitation and service will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Ulmer Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Carthage Salvation Army in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
