Orvil O. Patton of Miami, OK passed from this life Monday, August 27, 2018 at his home. He was 91.
Orvil was born February 13, 1927 in Ottawa County, OK to Albert Leslie and Hannah (Utter) Patton. Orvil served in the U.S. Army with occupation forces in Korea. He had lived in Ottawa County most of his life and was a member of the Peoria Assembly of God Church in Peoria, OK. Orvil was a crusher operator for American Tripoli in Seneca, MO.
Orvil was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers Ben, Ray, John, Steve and Virgil Patton and 3 sisters Norma Williams, Esther Tucker and Edith Lawson.
He married Marjorie Ann (George) Patton November 6, 1954 and she survives of the home. Additional survivors include his son Arnold Patton and wife Joyce of Miami, OK, 2 daughers Gayle Graham and husband Gerald of Wyandotte, OK and Keila Dewey of the home, his brother Max Patton of Bartlesville, OK,8 grandchildren Arik Barnes, April Barnes, Arin Barrera, Melissa Seay, Michelle Perez, Jimmy Osburn, Mark Osburn and Crystal Osburn, 17 great grandchildren Tyler Barnes, Kaleb Overton, Ashton Ladbasri, Ethan Barnes, Alex Davis, Aspen Davis, Kobe Barnes, Anthony Barrera, Arianna Barrera, Mackenzie Seay, Zackary Seay, Kade Perez, Kali Perez, Kira Perez, Kase Perez, Tyler Osburn and Maddison Osburn.
Funeral Services will be Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Rev. Menno Miller will officiate. Interment will be in the Ottawa Indian Cemetery, SE of Miami, OK. Arik Barnes, Tyler Barnes, Roger Chester, Jimmy Osurn, Mike Harrison and John Osburn will serve as pallbearers. Anthony Barrera, Kaleb Overton, Kobe Barnes, Gerald Graham, Ashton Ladbasri, Gano Perez and Kade Perez will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel.
