Joyce Elaine "Joy" Evans, 74, of Goodman, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, August 13, 2018, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Joy entered this life on June 4, 1944 in Noel, Missouri, to the late Frank and Blanche (Rowe) Johnson. She worked for Hudson Foods and Sunbeam. Joy really enjoyed flowers and had a large collection of ceramic chickens. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jack Johnson.
Joy is survived by her three children, Tammy Tosh and husband, David of Goodman, Missouri, Robert Evans and wife, Rowena of Seneca, Missouri, Penny Lasco of Neodesha, Kansas; four grandchildren, Dusty Tosh and wife, Rebecca of Seneca, Missouri, Jacob Tosh of Seneca, Missouri, Levi Evans and wife, Tiffany of Seneca, Missouri and Traci Lasco of Topeka, Kansas; four great grandchildren, Desirae Prather, Tynlee Evans, Taylyn Evans and Brexley Evans; three brothers, Wayne Johnson of Noel, Missouri, Joe Johnson of Noel, Missouri, Danny Johnson of Southwest City, Missouri; six sisters, Wanda Long of Columbus, Ohio, Darlene Coyan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Dorothy Spencer of Anderson, Missouri, Jannie Moss of Noel, Missouri, Sandy Burke of Neosho, Missouri and Debbie Morrison of Republic, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Joy.
A Memorial visitation for Joy will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the Goodman Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at this time.
