Doris Juanita (Geddings) Fields, 92, of Osage Beach, Missouri formerly of Noel, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 12, 2018 in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Doris was born October 10, 1925 in Hardwood Township, Illinois to the late Ezra and Mildred (Walton) Geddings. She married Bill Fields on January 28, 1944 in Pontiac, Michigan and to this union four children were born. Doris lived most of her life in the Noel area and was a member of the Noel Methodist Church, the women’s group, helped at the city hall on election days and volunteered during the Christmas season stamping Christmas cards at the Noel Post Office. Doris enjoyed shopping, hummingbirds, flowers, travel, music and dance.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two children; Bonnie Stephens and Kevin Fields.

Doris is survived by a son John Fields and wife Lana of Jacksonville, FL, two daughters; Aleta Martin of Gettysburg, PA and J.J. Jones and husband Jeff of Osage Beach, MO, five grandchildren; Michelle, Charlie, Layla, Parker, and Sidney, four great grandchildren; Ashley, Alex, Ezra, and Donovan, four great-great grandchildren; Zoey, Abbey, Jack and Baby G, and a brother; Gerry Geddings and wife Beverly of Portage, MI as well as a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service for Doris J. Fields will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Ozark Funeral Home in Noel, Missouri with Pastor Mark Turnbough officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 until service time.
